Alexandra Pfister

Alexandra Pfister (born in 1975) trained as a follower of Gutenberg at Huber und Co. AG. After qualifying as a typographer in 1995, she opted for a change of direction and trained as a police officer with the Winterthur municipal police. There was only one disadvantage to this exciting career: it involved no inks, fonts, typefaces, layouts. Following a change to the Media and Communication department in the year 2000, this gap was largely filled. This move was followed by further training to become a PR professional, and a post-graduate course in Internal Communication at the Swiss Public Relations Institute. Her special areas of interest include media work and internal communication, campaign planning and layout, crisis communication, event organisation and advice on Corporate Identity matters.

Alexandra Pfister speaks German and has a sound knowledge of French and English. Personal details: she is single and lives in Winterthur. When Alexandra Pfister is not at work, you can either find her jogging along the River Töss, on the tennis court or with her family. Her hobbies include painting with acrylics, travel, photography and cooking.
